FO Jumper Cable ROLINE 50/125µm OM4 LC/LC Low-Loss 5m is a duplex multimode fiber patch cable designed for high-bandwidth network links. The cable uses OM4 multimode fibers with LC connectors and a low-loss assembly to support reliable data transmission in data centers, server rooms and campus backbones. Its 5 m length and purple jacket make it suitable for short interconnections and cable management in modern network environments.
The OM4 fiber and high-quality low-loss LC connectors provide reduced insertion loss and improved return loss compared with standard connectors, enabling higher performance at very high bandwidths. Modal bandwidth of 4700 MHz·km and the low typical attenuation of low-loss LC connectors (~0.15 dB) support 10 Gb/s Ethernet, Fibre Channel and OIF applications to extended distances. The cable is manufactured to ROLINE quality standards and uses a purple jacket for easy identification.
Route the duplex FO jumper between LC ports ensuring correct transmit-to-receive orientation. Handle connectors by the boot and avoid touching the fiber endfaces; keep protective caps on until installation. For best performance, verify connector endface cleanliness with a fiber inspection tool and perform loss testing after installation to confirm insertion and return loss within system requirements.
