Keystone Jack ROLINE Cat.5e 26.11.0343
The ROLINE Cat.5e Keystone Jack is an unshielded RJ-45 connector designed for Cat5e cabling. Finished in light grey, this keystone insert fits standard wall plates and patch panels and provides a compact, low-profile connection point for Ethernet links. The jack supports typical Cat5e performance requirements and is intended for use in structured cabling installations where reliable, straightforward terminations are required.
The keystone jack offers a compact form factor that saves space in wall plates and patch panels while maintaining compatibility with common keystone openings. Its unshielded design is suitable for typical office and residential environments where Cat5e cabling is used. The RJ-45 interface ensures compatibility with standard Ethernet cables and devices, and the neutral grey color integrates unobtrusively into installations. The connector is engineered to provide consistent terminations and simple installation, reducing the time needed for port deployments.
Terminate Cat5e cable pairs to the IDC terminals on the keystone jack following the color code printed on the jack or the industry T568A/T568B schemes as required. Use a proper punch-down tool to seat conductors cleanly into the IDC points and trim any excess conductor. Insert the keystone jack into a compatible wall plate or patch panel until it snaps into place. Connect an RJ-45 patch cable to the front port to link the port to network equipment.
For reliable performance, apply standard Cat5e installation practices: maintain proper cable separation from electrical sources, avoid excessive cable bends, and test each terminated port with a network cable tester to verify continuity and pair integrity. Choose T568A or T568B consistently across the installation to ensure correct end-to-end wiring.
