The ROLINE Cat.6/Class E 19" patch panel with 24 ports is designed for STP (shielded) network connections and fulfils the Cat.6/Class E Permanent Link standard. Its sheet-steel housing and cover provide a durable metal construction suitable for professional structured cabling installations. The light grey finish offers a neutral appearance for server rooms, racks or network cabinets.

Advantages

The panel supports Gigabit Ethernet and is manufactured to meet Class E specifications for reliable performance. Cable termination uses LSA-plus piercing terminals with top colour coding according to EIA/TIA 568 for straightforward wiring. The 24-port layout allows centralised cable management and easy integration into 19" racks.

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19" rack or cabinet and secure it according to the rack manufacturer’s instructions. Terminate each incoming STP cable onto the LSA-plus terminals using the colour code printed on the panel top (EIA/TIA 568). Ensure shielding continuity by properly grounding the panel and shielded cables during installation. Connect patch cords to the front RJ45 ports to link network devices.

Usage recommendations

For a complete structured cabling solution use ROLINE Cat.6 S/FTP cable (AWG23), ROLINE shielded flush- or surface-mount wall jacks and compatible Cat.6 shielded patch cords. The product combination has been tested and certified by the GHMT laboratory in a 100 m channel to comply with Class E specifications (certificate nos. z2365b-10-E / z2364b-10-E).
