19-inch freestanding network cabinet ROLINE Basic 42U, 600x1000 mm, glass door, IP20, 600 kg
Freestanding 19-inch network cabinet ROLINE Basic with 42U rack capacity and external dimensions 600 x 1000 mm (W x D) and a height of 2010 mm. The enclosure features a lockable glass front door, removable side and rear panels, adjustable and reversible 19" rack rails with adjustable mounting depth, and an IP20 protection rating. The cabinet is constructed from robust sheet steel with a powder-coated finish and supports a maximum static load of 600 kg. Cable inlets are strategically positioned in the base chassis and roof, and the roof includes a punched area for optional fan module installation.
Designed for economical and modular network expansion, this ROLINE Basic cabinet combines sturdy steel construction with a space-saving 600 x 1000 mm footprint and a high 42U equipment capacity. The glass front door allows visual inspection without opening, while removable panels and reversible rails simplify installation and maintenance. Multiple cable entry points and a roof opening for a fan module enable flexible cabling and cooling configurations. The powder-coated finish provides corrosion resistance and a professional appearance suitable for server rooms and telecom environments.
Position the freestanding cabinet on a level surface and adjust the feet for stable support. Remove the front, side or rear panels as needed to access the mounting space. Install equipment on the 19" profile rails, adjusting the depth to match device mounting requirements. Route network and power cabling through the base or roof cable inlets and secure cables to prevent strain. If active cooling is required, use the punched roof area to mount a compatible fan module. Reattach and lock the front door to secure installed equipment.
Allow sufficient clearance around the cabinet for ventilation and service access; maintain recommended depth clearance for cable management and airflow. Distribute load evenly across the rack and secure heavy equipment at lower U positions to preserve stability. Use grounding and proper earthing practices when installing active equipment, and select compatible fan modules and cable management accessories to optimise cooling and organization.
