Air pressure regulator with drain, filter and pressure gauge RQS 1/2"
Air pressure regulator with drain, filter and pressure gauge RQS 1/2"
RQS air pressure regulator with drain, filter and pressure gauge, connection size 1/2" provides controlled output pressure while removing particulates and condensate from compressed air lines. The unit combines regulation, filtration and a manual drain in a single compact assembly designed for installation in workshop and industrial pneumatic systems. An integrated pressure gauge allows visual monitoring of downstream pressure for safe and predictable operation of pneumatic tools and equipment.
This regulator-filter-drain combination offers steady pressure control, effective particulate and moisture separation, and on-demand condensate removal through a manual drain. The integrated pressure gauge makes system checks quick and straightforward, reducing downtime due to pressure-related issues. Its 1/2" connection size fits common pneumatic lines and equipment, enabling straightforward integration into existing systems.
Install the unit in the compressed air line upstream of the equipment to be protected, observing flow direction markings and using appropriate thread sealant or tape. Use the regulator adjustment knob to set the desired downstream pressure while monitoring the integrated pressure gauge. Periodically operate the manual drain to remove accumulated condensate and check the filter element for particulate build-up. Follow standard safety practices: isolate and depressurize the system before maintenance.
To ensure reliable operation, install a primary particulate separator or coalescing pre-filter on systems with heavy contamination, and schedule regular visual inspections of the filter element and gauge. Replace the filter element according to operating conditions and manufacturers' service intervals, and avoid exposing the unit to freezing temperatures or corrosive environments.
