S-Impuls RJ45 Western Plug 8P8C Gold-Plated Long Version, pack of 25
S-Impuls RJ45 Western Plug 8P8C Gold-Plated Long Version, pack of 25 are modular network plugs designed for termination of twisted-pair Ethernet cables. Each plug features an 8P8C layout with gold-plated contacts and an extended housing length to provide improved conductor reach and more secure insertion into jacks and patch panels. Supplied as a set of 25, these RJ45 plugs are intended for crimping onto stranded or solid Cat5e and Cat6 cable cores to form reliable network connectors for LAN installations, custom patch leads and on-site cable repairs.
The gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and provide stable signal transmission and consistent contact resistance over time. The long-version housing allows conductors, including slightly untwisted or trimmed cores, to be positioned correctly against the contacts for a reliable crimp. Sold in a pack of 25, the set simplifies batch termination tasks and small installation jobs. The plug geometry is compatible with standard 8P8C jacks and patch panels and supports common crimp tools used for RJ45 terminations.
Strip the cable sheath to expose the twisted pairs, untwist and arrange conductors according to the required wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Trim conductors evenly and insert them fully into the long RJ45 plug so each conductor reaches its corresponding contact. Use a compatible crimping tool to crimp the plug onto the cable, ensuring the strain relief tab engages the cable jacket. After crimping, test the terminated cable with a cable tester to verify continuity and correct pair mapping.
For reliable terminations, use a quality RJ45 crimp tool suitable for long-body plugs and avoid overstripping the cable jacket. When working with Cat6 solid conductors, ensure the plug accepts solid wire gauge used and confirm contact seating before final installation. Store unused plugs in a dry environment to preserve gold plating performance.
