Networking cable SACON 442621,7 Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP) RJ-45–RJ-45, 7 m, Grey
SACON 442621,7 Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP) RJ-45–RJ-45 patch cable, 7 m, Grey is a shielded network cable designed for high-speed Ethernet links in home and office environments. Compliant with the Cat6a specification, this cable uses S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and features standard RJ-45 male connectors on both ends for plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers, servers and wall ports.
The S/FTP (S‑STP) shielding provides robust protection against external noise and preserves signal integrity across longer runs, supporting stable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit connections where network performance matters. The 7 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-desk, switch-to-wall, or server-to-switch cabling without excess slack. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with existing Ethernet equipment.
Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your switch, router, patch panel or wall socket and the other into the target device such as a server, PC or network appliance. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the cable run; maintain bend radius recommended for twisted‑pair cables to preserve performance. For permanent installations, route the cable through cable management trays or conduits and secure with appropriate cable ties without compressing the shielding.
Use the cable in environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required, for example near power lines, fluorescent lighting or dense cable bundles. For 10 Gigabit links, verify that connected hardware and patch fields are Cat6a compatible and keep cable runs within the standard length limits for the chosen application.
