ZVK saCon EasyLan LSD42100010 Fiber Optic Cable 1 m OM4 2x LC to 2x SC Male to Male Violet

The ZVK saCon EasyLan LSD42100010 fiber optic cable is a high-performance networking solution designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. Measuring 1 meter in length, this violet OM4 fiber optic cable features 2x LC and 2x SC male connectors, making it an efficient choice for connecting different interface types within structured cabling systems and telecommunication networks.

Advantages

This fiber optic cable provides exceptional signal integrity and low attenuation, which are critical for demanding network environments. The OM4 specification ensures high bandwidth capacity over short to medium distances, supporting rapid data transfer rates essential for modern data centers. The combination of LC and SC connectors offers direct compatibility with a wide range of network equipment without requiring additional adapters, while the distinct violet outer sheath allows for quick visual identification in complex patching areas.

Suitable for

• Data center patching between switches and patch panels
• Enterprise local area networks requiring high bandwidth
• Telecommunication and server room interconnections
• Connecting equipment with mixed LC and SC port configurations

When it may not be suitable

This cable may not be appropriate for installations requiring long-distance runs due to its fixed 1-meter length. Additionally, environments that exclusively use LC-to-LC or SC-to-SC connections will require different connector configurations.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Fiber type: OM4
• Connector 1: 2x LC male
• Connector 2: 2x SC male
• Sheath color: Violet

How to use

Before installation, inspect the fiber optic connectors for any dust or debris and clean them using appropriate optical cleaning tools if necessary. Carefully align the connectors with the corresponding ports on your network hardware. Push the connector straight into the port until a secure click is heard or felt, ensuring proper engagement. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force during cable routing to maintain optimal optical performance.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the required connector types on your network hardware to ensure compatibility with 2x LC and 2x SC interfaces
• Confirm that the 1-meter length is sufficient for the intended distance between connected devices
• Check if the OM4 specification meets the bandwidth and speed requirements of your network infrastructure

Usage recommendations: Handle the fiber optic cable with care to prevent bending the fiber beyond its minimum bend radius. Always use dust caps on connectors when the cable is not actively plugged into equipment to protect the optical end-faces from contamination.
