Sanitas 66.2020 PPR Water Supply Valve
The Sanitas 66.2020 PPR water supply valve is a robust and reliable component engineered for precise flow control within modern plumbing systems. Constructed from high-grade polypropylene random copolymer, this valve is designed to withstand the rigors of daily water distribution, ensuring consistent performance and structural integrity over an extended service life. Its design focuses on maintaining a secure, leak-proof connection, making it an essential element for both residential and commercial water supply networks.
This valve offers exceptional resistance to corrosion and chemical degradation, which is a hallmark of high-quality PPR materials. The smooth internal surface minimizes flow resistance and prevents the accumulation of mineral deposits, ensuring optimal water pressure throughout the system. Its lightweight construction simplifies handling during installation, while the precision-engineered mechanism allows for smooth and effortless operation when opening or closing the water flow. The material properties also provide excellent thermal stability, making it suitable for various temperature conditions found in standard plumbing applications.
This valve is specifically designed for use with PPR piping systems and may not be compatible with metallic or non-PPR plastic pipes without the use of specialized adapters. It is not intended for use in high-pressure industrial steam systems or applications involving aggressive chemicals that are incompatible with polypropylene.
Installation of the Sanitas PPR valve requires standard PPR fusion welding equipment. Ensure that the pipe ends and the valve sockets are clean and free of debris before heating. Insert the pipe and the valve fitting into the welding tool simultaneously for the recommended duration, then join them together firmly without twisting. Allow the joint to cool completely before applying pressure to the system. Once installed, the valve can be operated by turning the handle to the desired position to regulate or shut off the water flow.
Regularly inspect the valve for any signs of external damage or leaks. It is recommended to operate the valve fully open and closed at least twice a year to prevent the buildup of sediment and ensure the internal mechanism remains free-moving.
