USB Type-C hub Satechi ST-P7SS with HDMI, USB 3.2 Gen 2, Gigabit Ethernet — 10000 Mbit/s, 4K@60Hz, Silver
Satechi ST-P7SS is a USB Type-C hub that expands a single USB-C port with HDMI video output, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, an additional USB Type-C port and Gigabit Ethernet. It supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s, HDMI video output up to 4096×2160 at 60 Hz and Ethernet at 10/100/1000 Mbit/s. Powered via the host USB connection and compatible with ChromeOS and iOS, the hub enables connection of external displays, storage devices, peripherals and wired networks while maintaining a compact silver aluminium design.
The adapter provides multiple expansion ports in a single compact unit, combining HDMI, high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, an extra USB Type-C port and Gigabit Ethernet for wired networking. Video output supports 4K at 60 Hz for high-resolution displays while the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface allows fast data transfers with compatible devices. The slim silver aluminium housing is engineered for portability and desktop use, and the hub draws power through the connected USB Type-C host so no separate power supply is required for standard operation.
Connect the Satechi ST-P7SS to a host device using its USB Type-C connector. Plug an HDMI cable from the hub to an external monitor or TV and set the host display output to the external display if required. Insert USB devices into the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports or connect USB-C peripherals to the additional USB Type-C port. For wired network access, connect an Ethernet cable to the Gigabit Ethernet port; the host operating system should detect the network interface automatically. The hub is powered via the host USB port; ensure the host device provides adequate power for all connected peripherals.
Use compatible cables rated for 4K@60Hz for HDMI and high-quality Ethernet cables for stable Gigabit performance; when connecting multiple power-hungry devices, verify that the host device can supply sufficient USB power or use an externally powered hub if required.
