The SCHELL COMFORT Combination Angle Valve 1/2 inch Brass Chrome 10 Bar is a reliable plumbing component designed to provide precise water flow control for household fixtures. Manufactured by Schell, this combination angle valve is crafted from durable brass with a protective chrome finish, offering longevity and resistance to wear in standard plumbing environments. It features a functional 90-degree tilt angle and supports a maximum operating pressure of up to 10 Bar, making it a robust choice for residential and commercial water connection setups.

Advantages

This SCHELL combination angle valve stands out due to its high-quality brass construction, which ensures mechanical stability and reliable daily operation. The durable chrome finish not only provides an aesthetically pleasing appearance that matches modern bathroom and kitchen fixtures, but it also adds an extra layer of protection against corrosion. With a maximum pressure rating of 10 Bar, the valve safely handles standard household water system pressures. Its 90-degree angle design allows for efficient installation in tight spaces behind sinks, toilets, or washing machine connections, ensuring smooth and dependable water regulation.

Suitable for

• Connecting household fixtures such as washbasin faucets and toilet cisterns
• Supplying water to washing machines or dishwashers in kitchens and utility rooms
• Plumbing systems requiring a robust 1/2 inch outer thread connection
• Installations operating under water pressures up to 10 Bar

When it may not be suitable

This valve may not be suitable for plumbing systems that require connection sizes other than 1/2 inch or configurations without a 90-degree angle requirement. It is also not designed for industrial high-pressure fluid systems exceeding the 10 Bar maximum pressure limit.

Key specifications

• Brand: SCHELL
• Material: Brass
• Finish: Chrome
• Connection type: 1/2 inch outer thread
• Angle of tilt: 90 degrees
• Maximum operating pressure: 10 Bar

How to use

Before beginning installation, ensure the main water supply is completely shut off and the pipes are drained. Apply appropriate thread sealant tape to the 1/2 inch outer thread to ensure a water-tight seal. Screw the combination angle valve carefully into the designated plumbing fitting, adjusting it to the correct orientation using the 90-degree angle. Tighten securely without applying excessive force to prevent damage to the brass threads. Once installed, slowly reopen the main water supply and check all connection points for any signs of leakage before regular use.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your existing plumbing setup requires a 1/2 inch outer thread connection
• Check your water system pressure to ensure it does not exceed the 10 Bar limit
• Confirm the physical space allows for a 90-degree angle installation

Usage recommendations: Inspect the valve periodically for any signs of wear or leakage, and gently wipe the chrome exterior with a soft cloth to maintain its finish without using abrasive cleaners.
