Engine Oil Scheppach SAE30 / 10W-40 1 L for Lawn Mowers
Engine Oil Scheppach SAE30 / 10W-40 1 L for Lawn Mowers
Scheppach engine oil in a 1 L container is formulated for lawn mowers and other small petrol engines. Available in single-grade SAE30 and multigrade 10W-40 viscosities, this oil provides basic lubrication for cutting units, shafts and bearings in compact outdoor power equipment. It is intended for regular seasonal maintenance and for reducing friction and wear when used according to the engine manufacturer's viscosity recommendations.
The oil offers stable lubrication properties across its specified viscosity range to support reliable engine start and operation. It reduces metal-to-metal contact under normal operating conditions and helps maintain moving parts cleanliness by carrying away small contaminants. The 1 L packaging is convenient for single-service refills and routine maintenance of domestic mowers and small engines.
Before adding oil, consult the engine manufacturer’s handbook to confirm the recommended viscosity and required oil capacity. Warm the engine slightly by running it for a short time, then stop and allow it to sit on level ground. Remove the oil filler cap and use a funnel to pour the required quantity of oil; avoid overfilling. After filling, check the oil level using the dipstick or sight indicator and run the engine briefly to circulate the oil, then recheck the level and top up if necessary. Dispose of used oil according to local regulations.
Use the SAE30 grade for engines that specify single-grade oil, typically in stable warm climates or where the manufacturer recommends SAE30. Use the 10W-40 multigrade where engines require a wider temperature range performance. Always follow the equipment manufacturer's maintenance intervals and change the oil at recommended hours or at the start/end of the season.
