Marker pen Schneider Electric Maxx 271 — white, stroke width 2 mm
The Schneider Electric Maxx 271 marker pen in white is a permanent paint-marker designed for clear, consistent marking on a wide range of surfaces. With a compact body and a 2 mm stroke width, this marker delivers an even ink flow suitable for labeling, office use, workshop tasks and light industrial applications. The alcohol-based, low-odour formula covers like lacquer on metal, glass, ceramics, porcelain, plastic, rubber, leather, paper and cardboard, and provides water- and wipe-resistant marks that are lightfast and suitable for some outdoor use.
The Maxx 271 combines a paint-like covering performance with a low-odour alcohol-based ink free of xylene and toluene, reducing strong solvents while maintaining durability. Its valve system ensures consistent ink delivery and prevents skipping, and the marker is resistant to heat and corrosion. The 1–2 mm line width gives precise control for annotations and marking tasks, and the ink colour matches the cap for quick visual identification.
Shake the marker well before use to mix the paint-like ink. Press the tip gently to activate the valve system and begin marking when ink flow is established. For best results on non-porous surfaces such as metal, glass or plastic, ensure the surface is clean and dry. Apply steady strokes at a 45–90° angle to achieve the stated 1–2 mm line width. Allow the mark to dry; drying time varies by surface and layer thickness.
For durable and legible marks, clean surfaces of oil, dust and moisture before application. Test on a concealed area if substrate sensitivity is a concern. Recap the marker after use to prevent tip drying. Store horizontally when not in use to maintain consistent ink distribution.
