The socket is designed for installation into a standard flush-mounting box. Begin by ensuring the power is disconnected if working near electrical circuits. Strip the outer insulation of your Category 5e Ethernet cable and terminate the individual wires according to the T568A or T568B wiring standard as indicated on the socket terminal block. Once the wires are securely connected, mount the socket into the wall box and attach the Asfora series frame to complete the installation.
For optimal network performance, ensure that the Ethernet cable is not bent at sharp angles during installation and that the wire pairs are untwisted as little as possible when terminating the connection.
