Schneider Electric XB4 2-Position Selector Switch, 22mm, Green, 1NO+1NC, Spring Return
The Schneider Electric XB4 2-Position Selector Switch is a high-performance control component engineered for industrial automation and machinery interfaces. This 22mm device features a durable green rotary knob designed for intuitive manual operation. With a spring return mechanism, the switch automatically reverts to its original position, ensuring precise control and safety in various industrial applications. Built to withstand harsh conditions, it offers excellent protection against dust, water, and physical impacts, making it a reliable choice for demanding control panel environments.
This selector switch stands out due to its robust construction and high-quality materials, which guarantee long-term reliability in industrial settings. The inclusion of both 1NO and 1NC contacts provides versatile wiring options for complex control circuits. Its ergonomic design allows for easy installation and operation, while the spring return functionality prevents accidental sustained activation. Furthermore, the high IP66 and IK06 ratings ensure that the component remains functional even when exposed to moisture, dust, or mechanical stress, reducing maintenance requirements and downtime.
This switch is not intended for applications requiring a maintained position, as the spring return mechanism will always revert the switch to its default state. It is also not suitable for high-voltage power distribution circuits beyond its specified electrical ratings.
The switch is designed for panel mounting in a standard 22mm hole. Begin by securing the contact block and the operator head to the panel using the provided locking nut. Connect the electrical wiring to the 1NO and 1NC terminals according to your control circuit diagram. Once installed, the rotary knob can be turned to the second position to trigger the contact change; upon release, the spring return mechanism will automatically move the knob back to the initial position.
Regularly inspect the switch for any signs of physical damage or debris accumulation to maintain the integrity of the IP66 seal. Ensure that all electrical connections are tightened to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications to prevent loose wiring.
