Keystone RJ45 module SCHRACK HSEMRJ5UWS Cat.5e shielded keystone insert for network outlets
Keystone RJ45 module SCHRACK HSEMRJ5UWS, unshielded Cat.5e insert designed for modular network outlets. The module consists of two parts — the RJ45 jack and a cable IDC block — and supports 100 Mb/s and 1 Gbit/s applications. It uses a tool-less click installation system; removal of excess conductor length requires cutting pliers (HTOOL00002). The connector accepts conductors with diameters AWG 24/1 to AWG 22/1 and features a 110-type IDC insulation displacement termination. Measured performance meets Category 5 (100 MHz), class D.
The SCHRACK HSEMRJ5UWS keystone module offers a compact two-piece design for straightforward modular mounting and supports reinstallation. Its tool-less click mechanism simplifies insertion into faceplates or patch panels while the 110 IDC termination ensures reliable connections for AWG 24/1–22/1 conductors. The module is suitable for both 100 Mb/s and 1 Gbit/s Ethernet links and complies with Category 5 (100 MHz) performance standards.
Insert the cable into the IDC block following the selected wiring scheme (TIA 568A or 568B) and press the two parts together until the click locks the module. Use appropriate cutting pliers (HTOOL00002) to remove excess conductor length after termination. Snap the assembled keystone module into the faceplate or patch panel opening. The module can be removed and reinstalled if needed.
For best results, use twisted-pair cables with conductor sizes within AWG 24/1–AWG 22/1 and verify wiring consistency with TIA 568 standards. Although the module is tool-less for insertion, use the recommended cutting tool to ensure clean conductor ends and reliable terminations.
