The Schroff 28127-281 Edge cover is a black PVC accessory designed for rack installations. It covers sharp edges of cut-outs, provides protection from injuries and prevents damage to inserted cables, and delivers a neat, finished appearance to top cover cut-out zones.
Made from durable black PVC, this edge cover resists wear and maintains its shape. It reduces the risk of cable abrasion and operator injury by covering exposed metal edges. The product is lightweight, easy to install, and compatible with standard rack top cover cut-out zones.
Place the Schroff 28127-281 edge cover over the exposed edge of the cut-out on the rack top cover so that the PVC profile fully covers sharp metal edges. Press or slide the profile into position until it fits securely along the cut-out. Ensure cables pass through the protected opening and verify that the cover does not interfere with other rack components.
For safe and durable performance, install the edge cover on clean, dry surfaces and check periodically for wear or deformation. Replace the profile if it becomes cracked or no longer fits tightly around the cut-out.
