This keystone module features a durable die-cast housing that provides exceptional protection against external electromagnetic interference and alien crosstalk, ensuring stable network performance. The innovative tool-less design allows for rapid and efficient installation without the need for specialized punchdown tools, significantly reducing labor time. By utilizing advanced press-fit technology, the module eliminates the need for solder, ensuring a lead-free and environmentally friendly assembly that complies with RoHS standards. The internal PCB routing and unique contact alignment are specifically optimized to minimize internal magnetic coupling, meeting the rigorous criteria of the Class EA standard.
This module is specifically designed for shielded CAT6A cabling systems and may not be necessary for basic residential networks using unshielded CAT5e or CAT6 cables. Additionally, it is not intended for use in environments requiring specialized ruggedized or waterproof connectors.
To install the module, prepare your CAT6A shielded cable by stripping the outer jacket and folding back the shielding braid. Arrange the individual wire pairs according to the color-coding scheme provided on the module. Insert the wires into the designated slots and close the integrated housing cover. The tool-less mechanism will automatically terminate the connections as the housing is snapped shut, ensuring a secure and reliable contact without the need for an impact tool.
