Secomp Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable 2 m, Cat6 S/FTP (S‑STP), RJ‑45 — Grey
Secomp Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable, 2 m length, designed for short patch connections in Gigabit Ethernet networks. The cable meets Cat6 requirements and features S/FTP (S‑STP) shielding: foil-wrapped twisted pairs combined with an overall braided screen to reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 male connectors and the cable comes in grey for unobtrusive office or home installation.
The S/FTP (S‑STP) construction offers improved protection against external electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, which helps maintain signal integrity at high data rates. The 2 m length is convenient for connecting devices in racks, under desks, or between nearby network equipment without excess cable slack. Standard RJ-45 male connectors ensure compatibility with common network ports.
Plug one RJ-45 male connector into the network port of your switch, router or network device and the other connector into the target device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and near strong sources of interference when possible. For structured installations, label both ends as needed to match patch panel or port numbering.
Use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable for short runs up to 2 m where shielded cabling is preferred to reduce EMI. Avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s minimum to preserve shielding performance and connector integrity.
