Network patch cable Secomp 21089253 Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP) 5 m, RJ-45 — green
Secomp 21089253 is a 5 m Cat6 network patch cable with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and RJ-45 Straight Male connectors at both ends. The cable is designed for wired Ethernet connections up to Cat6 performance, reducing electromagnetic interference through individually foil-wrapped pairs and an overall braided shield to ensure stable gigabit connectivity for routers, switches, PCs and patch panels.
The S/FTP (S-STP) construction provides improved protection against crosstalk and external EMI compared with unshielded cables. Cat6 specification supports higher data rates and tighter performance tolerances than Cat5e. The 5 m length offers flexibility for typical rack and desktop installations, and the RJ-45 Straight Male connectors are compatible with standard Ethernet ports.
Insert each RJ-45 Straight Male connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices (for example, router to switch, switch to patch panel or PC to wall socket). Ensure connectors click firmly into place and avoid tight bends near the connector ends to maintain signal integrity. For rack installations, route the cable along cable management channels to prevent strain and interference.
Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable in environments where reduced electromagnetic interference and reliable gigabit performance are required. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines; keep bend radius to manufacturer guidance (typically no less than four times the cable diameter) to preserve performance.
