Flat UTP Cat.6 Network Cable Secomp 0.5 m, U/FTP (STP), RJ-45 – black
Secomp flat UTP Cat.6 network cable, 0.5 m, is designed for Gigabit Ethernet and short structured-cabling connections. The cable uses Cat6 specification with U/FTP (STP) shielding around the pairs and comes terminated with RJ-45 male connectors on both ends. Its extra-flat profile and compact black jacket make it suitable for routing in confined spaces such as under carpets, behind furniture or in rack patching where space is limited.
The flat construction reduces bend radius requirements and allows discreet installation in tight paths while maintaining Cat6 performance for 1 Gbit/s networks. U/FTP (STP) shielding improves resistance to near-end crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded variants. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance. The prepared plug termination follows standard 1:1 wiring to EIA/TIA-568, supporting all eight conductors for full Gigabit connectivity.
Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, PC or other Ethernet-enabled equipment) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Due to the short 0.5 m length, use this cable for nearby devices or within patch panels and racks where minimal slack is required. Do not overstress the cable; avoid sharp kinks and excessive pulling when routing through tight passages.
For best performance keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and large electrical noise sources. When routing under carpets or along skirting boards, avoid compressing the flat cable under heavy furniture that could deform the conductors. Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if outer jacket or contacts appear worn.
