Patch cable UTP Cat 5e (Class D) Secomp 5 m beige
Secomp UTP Cat 5e patch cable, 5 m in beige, is an unshielded twisted-pair Ethernet cable engineered to meet Cat 5e (Class D) performance for typical office and home networks. The cable comes with standard RJ45 terminations on both ends and a flexible outer jacket that simplifies routing through conduits and cable trays. It supports reliable data and voice transmission for connections between switches, routers, patch panels and other network devices within a local area network.
The UTP Cat 5e design provides balanced pair construction to reduce crosstalk and maintain consistent signal quality across the run. Standard RJ45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network equipment, while the 5 m length covers typical desk-to-switch and cabinet-to-workstation distances without excess slack. The flexible jacket improves handling during installation and reduces stress on connectors.
Plug one RJ45 termination into the network device (switch, router, patch panel or wall jack) and the other into the endpoint device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks or tight tie wraps that could impair performance. For neat installations use cable organizers or Velcro straps rather than metal zip ties.
For optimal performance maintain bend radii larger than the cable diameter, avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended distances, and use this cable within its Cat 5e performance limits (100BASE-TX and Fast Ethernet). For Gigabit Ethernet over longer or more demanding installations consider higher category cables.
