To use this patch cable, simply insert the RJ45 connector into the corresponding network port on your device until you hear a click. Ensure that the cable is not bent at sharp angles or pinched by furniture, as this can damage the internal wiring and degrade signal quality. The 1.5-meter length is ideal for short-distance connections between devices placed on the same desk or within the same rack.
What to consider before purchase
- Verify the required length to ensure the 1.5-meter cable is sufficient for your setup
- Check that your network devices support RJ45 connections
- Ensure the Category 5e standard meets your current network speed requirements
For optimal network performance, avoid running ethernet cables parallel to power lines to prevent potential electromagnetic interference. Regularly inspect the cable for signs of physical damage to maintain a stable connection.
