The SecurityNET S/FTP Cat.6 patch cable is a high-performance networking solution engineered for stable and secure data transmission. With a length of 1 meter, this cable is designed to provide reliable connectivity in professional and home office environments. It features advanced S/FTP shielding, which effectively minimizes electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, ensuring high data integrity. The cable is encased in a halogen-free LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket, making it a safer choice for enclosed spaces where fire safety is a priority.
Advantages
This patch cable offers superior signal quality due to its individual pair shielding and overall braid, which protects against external noise. The use of LSZH material ensures that in the event of a fire, the cable emits minimal smoke and no toxic halogen gases, complying with strict safety standards. Its flexible design allows for easy installation in tight spaces, such as server racks or behind office desks, while maintaining durability for long-term use in high-speed local area networks.
Suitable for
- Connecting computers to network wall outlets
- Linking switches, routers, and modems
- High-speed data transmission in office and home networks
- Environments requiring fire-safe cabling materials
When it may not be suitable
This 1-meter cable is not suitable for long-distance connections between rooms or buildings due to its short length. It is also not intended for outdoor use, as the jacket is not UV-resistant or waterproof.
Key specifications
- Category: Cat.6
- Shielding: S/FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair)
- Length: 1 meter
- Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
- Color: Blue
How to use
To use the cable, simply insert the RJ45 connector into the network port of your device until you hear a click. Ensure that the cable is not bent at sharp angles or crushed by heavy furniture, as this can damage the internal conductors and affect network performance. The cable is plug-and-play, requiring no additional configuration for immediate network connectivity.
What to consider before purchase
- Verify the required length for your specific setup
- Check if your network equipment supports Cat.6 standards
- Ensure the environment requires LSZH safety standards
Usage recommendations
For optimal network performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to prevent potential signal interference.
