Segway Navimow X420E Robotic Lawn Mower, 2000 m² and 43 cm Cutting Width, Battery Powered
The Segway Navimow X420E is a battery-powered robotic lawn mower offering a 430 mm cutting width and a minimum cutting height of 20 mm. Designed for medium to large gardens, it combines all-wheel drive traction, precise front-wheel zero-turn steering, and automated mapping to maintain lawns with minimal manual intervention. The mower includes adaptive blade and suspension systems to protect turf while negotiating slopes, kerbs, gravel paths and uneven terrain, and supports multi-zone scheduling and hands-free operation via phone-based mapping and controls.
The X420E integrates All-Wheel Drive Xero-Turn™ steering and a Traction Control System to deliver stable, zero-turn manoeuvrability without tearing grass. Its dual-disc, 12-blade deck increases cutting coverage and, together with the adaptive blade system, reduces scraping on uneven ground. Fast charging and efficient travel speed let the mower cover large areas in a single day, while EFLS™ NRTK positioning and GeoSketch™ real-scene mapping provide reliable, antenna-free localisation and easy boundary editing on a smartphone. The unit is rated IP66 for weather resistance and operates at noise levels below 68 dB(A).
This robotic mower is optimised for regularly maintained lawns and may be less suitable for properties with extensive areas of very rough terrain, dense woody vegetation, or obstacles taller than the mower’s clearance. Extremely narrow passages or frequently changing boundary layouts can reduce mapping efficiency and may require occasional manual intervention.
Place the mower in the garden and start the auto-mapping routine using the companion app; the mower will scan boundaries and generate a real-scene map for editing. Set schedules and zones in the app, including any no-go areas, and let the Navimow X420E operate autonomously. For best results, clear large debris and low branches from the lawn before the first runs, and periodically check blade condition and battery charge status.
Use the app to create zones and schedules, perform an initial clear of debris and low obstacles, and inspect blades periodically. For steep or uneven areas, allow the mower to map and adapt before running full schedules to ensure optimal traction and edge performance.
