Sellmar PLASTOCOOLKI PC6C are a set of six reusable glowing gel ice packs designed to provide portable cooling and temperature retention for coolers, lunchboxes and short-term transport of perishable goods. Each pack contains a non-toxic cooling gel and an integrated illuminating element that improves visibility in low light. The product is intended to maintain lower temperatures during picnics, deliveries, commuting with chilled meals, or when transporting medicines that require temporary cool conditions.
Advantages
These reusable ice packs combine a flexible gel core with a glow feature that helps locate packs in dim environments. The gel formulation keeps packs pliable when frozen, allowing them to conform around items for better contact cooling. Reusability reduces waste compared with single-use cold packs, and the compact rectangular shape makes them easy to stack or arrange inside different containers. The illumination element does not replace active temperature monitoring but adds convenience when accessing coolers at night or in poorly lit spaces.
Suitable for
- Cooling lunchboxes and meal containers for work or school
- Maintaining temperature in portable coolers for picnics and outdoor activities
- Short-term transport of perishable groceries or food deliveries
- Temporary cold storage of temperature-sensitive medicines on the go
- Emergency use during power outages for short-duration cooling
Key specifications
- Quantity: pack of six reusable gel ice packs
- Filling: non-toxic cooling gel
- Feature: integrated glow/illumination element for visibility
- Shape and size: slim rectangular form to fit common lunchboxes and coolers
- Reuse: designed for repeated freezing and thawing cycles
How to use
Place the gel ice packs in a freezer until the gel is solid according to your freezer’s settings, then insert them into a cooler, lunchbox or insulated bag alongside the items to be chilled. For best contact cooling, arrange the packs so they lie flat against the contents. After use, return the packs to the freezer to refreeze. If the glow element is battery- or chemical-activated, follow any included instructions for activation and observe the expected illumination duration. Avoid puncturing the outer pouch and inspect packs for damage before each use.
Usage recommendations
Do not microwave or expose to open flame. Keep the packs out of reach of children and pets; if the outer pouch is damaged, avoid contact with the gel and dispose of the pack according to local regulations for plastic and gel waste. For transporting medicines, verify temperature requirements and use a thermometer or data logger when precise control is needed. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent; do not submerge a damaged pack in water.
