Electric hot plate Sencor SCP 1763BK, 1 cooking zone, mechanical control
The Sencor SCP 1763BK electric hot plate is a single-zone ceramic hob with a compact metal body in black finish. With a 19 cm radiant glass-ceramic cooking surface and 1,200 W maximum power, this portable hot plate is designed for small kitchens, holiday homes or as an additional cooking surface. Mechanical rotary control and a power indicator lamp provide straightforward operation, while the smooth ceramic top simplifies cleaning and maintenance.
The device heats quickly and reaches high surface temperatures suitable for frying, roasting, cooking and reheating. The rotary thermostat allows continuous adjustment of power intensity and the indicator light shows when the unit is on. Its compact dimensions and lightweight metal construction make the hot plate easy to transport and store. The smooth glass-ceramic surface is resistant to spills and wipes clean with minimal effort.
Place the hot plate on a stable, heat-resistant surface and connect it to a suitable mains outlet (220–240 V). Set cookware with a flat base in the centre of the 19 cm ceramic zone. Turn the rotary thermostat to the desired setting to begin heating; the indicator light will illuminate while the unit is on. Preheat briefly if required, then place food or a pan on the hob. After use, turn the thermostat to the off position, unplug the device and allow the ceramic surface to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
Use cookware with flat, smooth bottoms to ensure even heat transfer and stable placement. Avoid sliding heavy pots across the ceramic surface to prevent scratches. Clean spills when the surface is cool using a soft cloth and non-abrasive cleaner designed for glass-ceramic tops. Do not immerse the appliance in water and follow local safety guidelines for electrical appliances.
