SEZ IVN 1653 is a portable 5-pin industrial plug rated for 16A and 400V with IP44 protection. The compact red housing identifies the phase configuration and enhances visibility for temporary power connections. This three-phase connector is intended for portable and temporary installations where a weather-resistant, easy-to-handle plug is required, such as construction sites, workshops and event power distribution.
The plug offers IP44 ingress protection against splashing water and solid objects, ensuring reliable operation in outdoor or dusty environments. The five-pin design provides secure connection for three-phase power plus neutral and earth conductors. Its compact form and standardized dimensions allow quick mating with compatible sockets, while the colored housing facilitates fast identification of phase type on site.
Ensure supply is switched off before connecting or disconnecting the plug. Strip and prepare cable conductors according to local electrical regulations and the cable cross-section suitable for 16 A. Insert conductors into the correct terminals for the three phases, neutral and earth, then tighten terminal screws to the manufacturer's recommended torque. After assembly, check that the housing closes securely and that seals are correctly positioned to preserve IP44 protection. Connect the plug only to a compatible 5-pin socket rated for the same current and voltage.
Regularly inspect the plug for damage, corrosion or wear, and verify terminal tightness before each use. Avoid prolonged exposure to standing water and replace the plug if seals or contacts are compromised. Use cable of appropriate cross-section for 16 A three-phase circuits and follow national wiring rules for safe operation.
