Networking cable Sharkoon 1.5m RJ-45 Cat6 S/FTP White
Networking cable Sharkoon 1.5m RJ-45 Cat6 S/FTP White
The Sharkoon 1.5m RJ-45 Cat6 S/FTP White networking cable is designed for reliable wired Ethernet connections in home and office environments. It uses Category 6 specification with S/FTP shielding to reduce external electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, and provides consistent performance for high-speed data transfer over short to medium distances. The cable is finished in a white jacket and terminated with RJ-45 plugs featuring gold-plated contacts for improved contact reliability.
The S/FTP shielding construction combines an overall braided shield with individually foil-shielded pairs to enhance noise immunity and maintain signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. The 26 AWG copper inner conductors balance flexibility and conductivity, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer corrosion resistance and stable contact. Compliance with recognised cabling standards ensures predictable performance and interoperability with other structured cabling components.
Connect one RJ-45 end to the Ethernet port of your computer, switch, router or other network device, and plug the other end into the corresponding network port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a tactile click is felt. For best performance, avoid tight bends, sharp kinks or compressions along the cable path and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power lines or large transformers.
Use the 1.5 m length for direct point-to-point connections where devices are in close proximity. When routing the cable, maintain gentle curves and secure with cable clips or ties without over-tightening to preserve the S/FTP shielding and conductor integrity. Replace the cable if the jacket or connectors become damaged.
