Network Cable Sharkoon Patch SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 1m Blue
Network Cable Sharkoon Patch SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 1m Blue
The Sharkoon Patch SFTP RJ-45 Cat.7a 1m Blue is a shielded network cable designed to provide reliable wired connectivity for home and office networks. Compliant with Cat.7a specifications, this 1-meter cable uses RJ-45 terminations and S/FTP construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and support high-speed data transmission between network devices. The blue jacket offers easy visual identification in structured cabling setups.
The cable’s S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pair) design combines an overall braid shield with individual foil shielding for each pair, which improves protection against crosstalk and external interference. Cat.7a capability supports higher bandwidths and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables. Compact 1 m length reduces excess slack in patching scenarios and the standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common switches, routers, network cards and patch panels.
Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the latch clicks. Use the cable to connect network devices such as a PC to a router, a switch to a patch panel, or between switches. Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable to maintain signal quality. For rack installations, route the cable alongside other patch leads and secure it with cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors.
For optimal performance, use the Sharkoon Cat.7a patch cable for short-distance connections within racks or between nearby devices where high bandwidth and reduced interference are required. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended lengths, and replace the cable if connector damage or excessive wear appears.
