Marker Sharpie 2218113 Brush tip Red — 1 pc, brush tip, red ink
Sharpie 2218113 Brush tip Red is a single red brush-tip marker designed for expressive strokes and variable line widths. The marker uses vibrant acrylic paint-like, water-based ink that applies smoothly to many surfaces without bleeding. It produces bold, visible marks on paper, metal, wood, ceramic, glass, stone and canvas. The flexible brush tip allows controlled thin-to-thick lines, and colours layer cleanly to add depth to lettering, illustration and craft projects.
The marker delivers intense, paint-like red pigment that remains highly visible on both light and dark backgrounds. Its water-based formulation minimises bleed-through and lets colours layer without unwanted blending. Because the tip is conical/brush-shaped, it provides variable line widths for expressive lettering and detailed illustration. The marker is ready to use without shaking — simply remove the cap and draw.
This marker uses water-based acrylic ink that behaves like paint; it is ideal for decorative and artistic work but may not replace solvent-based permanent markers for industrial, heavy-duty or outdoor applications requiring extreme weather resistance. It can leave visible strokes on very absorbent paper or fabrics and may require testing on the intended surface before large-area use.
Uncap the marker and apply with light-to-firm pressure to achieve thin or thick strokes. For layered colour effects, allow the first layer to dry before applying additional layers to avoid unintended blending. Store horizontally for best ink distribution. If the tip becomes clogged or dry, recapping and letting the marker sit horizontally can help redistribute the ink.
For best results when lettering or illustrating, practice pressure control on scrap material to get familiar with the brush tip. Allow layers to dry fully between applications and store the marker horizontally to maintain even ink flow.
