Networking Cable S/CONN 08-47045 3m Cat8.1 U/FTP Black
The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-47045 3m Cat8.1 U/FTP Black is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for short-run, high-bandwidth connections. This 3 meter cable meets the Cat8.1 specification and uses U/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors for compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and patch panels. The black jacket provides a neutral professional appearance suitable for office, server room and home network installations.
The U/FTP construction combines an overall shield with individually foiled pairs to improve signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Cat8.1 specification supports high data rates and low latency for demanding network applications. The 3 m length balances reach and neat cable management in rack and desktop setups. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure plug-and-play compatibility with existing Ethernet equipment.
Insert the RJ-45 connectors fully into the corresponding ports on networking equipment until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, sharp edges and sources of excessive heat. For rack and cabinet installations, secure the cable with Velcro or cable ties at gentle intervals to maintain proper bend radius and minimize strain on the connectors. Test the link with network diagnostic tools after installation to verify expected throughput and link integrity.
For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 U/FTP cable for short, high-speed links and keep length within recommended limits for Cat8-class deployments. Avoid running alongside high-voltage power lines and maintain proper bend radius; periodic inspection of connectors and jacket condition helps preserve signal quality.
