Patch Panel S/CONN 75077
The ShiverPeaks Patch Panel S/CONN 75077 is a metal-mounted networking component designed to centralize and organize RJ-45 terminated Cat6a cabling in rack and cabinet installations. With compact dimensions of 212 mm width, 45 mm height and 130 mm depth and a neutral grey finish, this patch panel fits standard 19-inch mounting environments and provides a tidy interface for horizontal and vertical cable runs, enabling clearer cable management and consistent connection points for switches, routers and patch cords.
This metal patch panel supports Cat6a performance and uses RJ-45 ports to ensure compatibility with a broad range of network devices and patch cords. Its compact form factor and robust construction facilitate secure installation in racks or cabinets while offering a professional appearance. The panel’s dimensions and standardized connector layout make it straightforward to integrate into existing structured cabling systems, reducing installation time and improving accessibility for maintenance.
Mount the patch panel in a compatible 19-inch rack or cabinet using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts. Terminate Cat6a cables to the rear-side IDC or punch-down points following the T568A or T568B wiring scheme required by your network design. Connect patch cords to the front RJ-45 ports to link switches, routers or other active equipment. Ensure cables are routed with strain relief and that pair untwisting is minimized at termination points to maintain signal integrity.
For optimal performance, use Cat6a-rated patch cords and maintain proper cable bend radius and separation from power sources. Label ports consistently and document port mappings to simplify maintenance. Inspect terminations and perform certification testing where required to verify channel performance.
