ShiverPeaks 75717-AY Cat 6A S/FTP PIMF shielded ethernet cable is engineered for high-performance wired networks. This Cat 6A cable features an overall foil shield combined with individually shielded twisted pairs and pair-in-metal-foil construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk. It supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over standard distances and is suitable for structured cabling in data centers, server rooms and office LAN installations.
The shielded S/FTP PIMF design provides enhanced protection against EMI and RFI, improving signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. As a Category 6A cable, it supports higher bandwidth and better near-end crosstalk (NEXT) performance compared with lower categories. The halogen-free construction reduces toxic smoke in case of fire, and the cable’s certified compliance with industry standards ensures predictable electrical characteristics for reliable connection performance.
Install the cable by routing it through cable trays or conduits and terminating with compatible RJ45 shielded connectors and patch panels designed for Cat 6A. Ensure that shields are properly bonded to grounding points at installation to maintain shielding effectiveness.
