The ShiverPeaks Fibre Optic Cable S/CONN 3m SC/SC is a 3-metre OM2 multimode fibre cable equipped with SC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for full duplex communication, this cable supports high-speed data transfer and stable optical signals over short to medium distances. It is suitable for structured cabling in racks, patch panels and device interconnects where multimode performance and SC terminations are required.
This OM2 fibre cable delivers consistent multimode transmission with a 50 µm core that accommodates common multimode transceivers. SC/SC terminations provide push-pull mating for easy installation and secure connections in patch panels and wall outlets. The 3 m length balances flexibility and reach, reducing the need for additional patching while keeping signal loss low in typical data centre and networking environments.
Route the fibre cable avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibre.
