The ShiverPeaks BS75712-H-SET10 2m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable provides a compact connection solution for wired Ethernet networks. Constructed to Cat6 specifications, the cable supports gigabit-class data rates and features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Both ends are terminated with RJ-45 plugs plated in gold to ensure reliable contact and resistance to corrosion, and the cable is finished in a neutral grey jacket suitable for residential and professional environments.
S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with individually foil-wrapped pairs to deliver improved noise rejection compared with unshielded or partially shielded alternatives, helping maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. The Cat6 specification offers higher bandwidth and lower near-end crosstalk than older cable categories, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide stable electrical contact and enhanced durability for repeated insertions.
