Siemens 3LD2565-1GP53 Rotary Switch, 3-Pole, 63A, 22kW
The Siemens 3LD2565-1GP53 is a high-performance 3-pole rotary switch disconnector engineered for secure power control and isolation in industrial electrical systems. This device serves as a reliable emergency switching-off switch, ensuring safety and operational efficiency. Housed in a durable molded plastic enclosure, it is designed to withstand demanding environments while providing consistent performance for power distribution and machinery control.
This rotary switch offers exceptional reliability through its robust construction and high-quality materials. The inclusion of a red and yellow rotary operating mechanism provides clear visual indication for emergency stop functions, significantly enhancing workplace safety. Its design supports secure locking with up to three padlocks, preventing unauthorized operation during maintenance. The molded plastic encapsulation is specifically prepared for metric cable glands, facilitating straightforward installation and protection against external elements.
This switch is not intended for use in environments with extreme chemical exposure or high-pressure washdown requirements unless additional protective enclosures are provided. It is also not suitable for applications exceeding its rated current of 63 A or power capacity of 22 kW.
The switch should be installed by a qualified professional in accordance with local electrical regulations. Mount the enclosure securely to a flat surface using the provided mounting points. Connect the power cables through the designated metric cable gland entries, ensuring all connections are tightened to the specified torque. Once installed, the rotary handle allows for manual switching between the ON and OFF positions. To lock the device, turn the handle to the OFF position and insert padlocks through the integrated locking mechanism.
Regularly inspect the enclosure for signs of physical damage and ensure the rotary mechanism moves freely. Perform periodic testing of the auxiliary contacts to confirm proper signaling during switching operations.
