Silver PVC Hose Connector with 2-inch External Thread

The Silver PVC hose connector with a 2-inch external thread is designed for secure and reliable connection within garden irrigation systems and fluid transfer setups. This durable component ensures a tight seal and seamless integration with standard PVC hoses, making it an essential part of efficient watering and pumping infrastructure.

Advantages

This connector provides exceptional durability and stability for various fluid transfer and garden irrigation setups. Built from high-quality PVC material, it resists standard wear associated with outdoor use and regular watering operations. The precision-engineered 2-inch external thread guarantees a firm and secure attachment, minimizing the risk of leaks or pressure drops during operation. Its design allows for straightforward integration into existing pipe networks, helping to maintain consistent water flow and reliable system performance.

Suitable for

• Connecting PVC hoses in garden irrigation systems
• Fluid transfer setups requiring a 2-inch threaded connection
• Agricultural and domestic watering infrastructure
• Pumping systems and water distribution networks

When it may not be suitable

This connector may not be suitable for high-pressure industrial applications that exceed the standard operational limits of PVC fittings. It is also not recommended for systems carrying hot water or aggressive chemical solutions that could degrade the material integrity over time.

Key specifications

• Material: PVC
• Thread type: External
• Thread size: 2 inches
• Color: Silver
• Application: Garden irrigation and fluid transfer

How to use

To install the connector, ensure that the mating thread is clean and free of debris. Apply appropriate thread sealant tape to the external thread to secure a watertight connection. Thread the connector into the corresponding female port and tighten it firmly by hand, followed by a careful turn with a suitable tool if necessary, avoiding over-tightening. Attach the PVC hose securely to the hose connection side using a compatible clamp to prevent slipping during water pressure surges.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the thread size matches your existing equipment
• Check the operating pressure requirements of your irrigation system
• Confirm the compatibility of PVC material with your intended fluid type

Usage recommendations: Regularly inspect the threaded connection and hose attachment for any signs of wear or leakage, especially after seasonal storage or heavy use, and replace the thread sealant tape periodically to maintain optimal sealing performance.
