Networking Cable Wirewin Cat.5e F/UTP 15m
The slim wirewin Networking Cable Wirewin Cat.5e F/UTP 15m is a 15-metre patch cable designed for reliable wired network connections supporting data transfer speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s. Constructed with 100% copper conductors and F/UTP (FTP) screening, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and maintains signal integrity in home and office environments. The cable features RJ-45 connectors with copper plating and an LSZH outer jacket for reduced smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire.
This Cat.5e F/UTP cable provides shielding that helps limit external interference while the full-copper conductors ensure consistent transmission and low attenuation. The RJ-45 connectors are copper-plated for improved contact reliability and the cable follows TIA/EIA 568B pinning for standardised installations. A special boot protects the connector and simplifies plugging and unplugging. The cable construction with 4x2xAWG26/7 twisted pairs supports Gigabit Ethernet over short and medium distances.
Route the cable between network devices such as switches, routers and computers, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges. Insert the RJ-45 connector firmly into the network port until it clicks; the special boot provides strain relief and protects the latch. For wall terminations or patch panels, follow the TIA/EIA 568B wiring scheme when terminating or testing the cable. Test the connection with a network tester or by verifying link/activity LEDs on connected devices.
For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and maintain appropriate bend radius. Use the shielded design where electromagnetic interference may impact signal quality, and choose LSZH jackets for installations in confined or public indoor spaces where low smoke emission is preferred.
