SOLARIX keystone jack CAT6 STP RJ45, Samořezný, model SXKJ-6-STP-BK-SA
Keystone jack SOLARIX CAT6 STP RJ45 (SXKJ-6-STP-BK-SA) is a self-tapping keystone module designed for installation in wall plates and patch panels. It supports shielded twisted-pair (STP) cables and provides RJ45 termination for eight-conductor Ethernet wiring compatible with Category 6 performance. The module is intended for structured cabling where shielding and reliable RJ45 contacts are required to maintain signal integrity and support high-speed data transmission.
This SOLARIX keystone jack features a self-tapping mounting design that simplifies installation into standard keystone openings without additional screws. The CAT6 STP construction offers improved electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection compared with unshielded variants, and the RJ45 interface ensures compatibility with common network cabling and connectors. The module is suitable for use in patch panels and wall outlets, providing a compact and standardized solution for terminating shielded Ethernet runs.
Prepare the shielded Ethernet cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose the foil and drain wire, then arrange the conductors according to the required wiring scheme (T568A or T568B). Insert and terminate the individual wires into the keystone jack according to the color-coded IDC or punch-down points provided on the module, ensuring the cable shield is properly connected to the jack’s shield termination. Once terminated, press the keystone module into the wall plate or patch panel opening until it snaps into place. Test the link with a cable tester to verify continuity, pair integrity and correct wiring before commissioning the network.
Use proper shielding termination techniques: bond the cable shield to the module and the equipment grounding point to maintain effective EMI protection. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force on the cable during installation, and use a certified cable tester to confirm performance after termination. Select the appropriate wiring standard (T568A or T568B) and maintain consistency at both ends of the link.
