Shielding RJ45 snag-proof boots SOLARIX S45SP-GY in gray, pack of 100. These protective boots are designed to be fitted onto RJ45 plugs before crimping to protect the plastic latch and reduce cable strain at the connector. They are compatible with standard network cables with outer diameters in the range of 5.0–6.0 mm and are supplied in common colors including gray, red, blue, yellow, green and black.

How to use

Slide the protective boot onto the cable before attaching and crimping the RJ45 connector so the boot covers the latch area once the plug is assembled. After crimping, move the boot into position over the plug body to protect the plastic latch and provide strain relief at the cable exit. These boots are non-divisible and cannot be applied after crimping.

Usage recommendations
