Network wall socket SOLARIX Socket CAT6 UTP 1xRJ45 white SX9-1-6-UTP-WH is a compact in-wall outlet designed for Ethernet networks using Category 6 unshielded twisted pair cabling. The SX9 series meets requirements of ANSI/TIA/EIA 568, ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173 standards and is available in one-port German-style format with a 45° angled RJ45 port. The connector block uses Krone IDC suitable for AWG 26–22 and contact positions are labelled for T568A or T568B wiring. The socket is built for reliable performance, long service life and straightforward installation; it is intended for flush-mounting but can be surface-mounted when used with the SX9-0-WH box. The housing and compatible box are white (RAL 9003).

How to use

Mount the SOLARIX SX9 socket into a standard flush wall box following local electrical and cabling regulations. Strip and prepare the Cat6 UTP cable, then terminate the conductors into the Krone IDC according to the chosen wiring scheme (T568A or T568B). Secure the module in the faceplate and attach the cover plate. For surface mounting, install the SX9-0-WH surface box first and then fit the socket into that box. Test the connection with appropriate network testing tools to verify wiring and gigabit link performance.

Usage recommendations

Use the socket with Category 6 unshielded cabling and compatible RJ45 patch cables to ensure gigabit performance. Select and follow either T568A or T568B wiring consistently across the installation. When routing cables in tight spaces, the 45° port orientation can reduce bend stress; avoid exceeding manufacturer's bend radius for Cat6 cable. If a surface-mounted installation is required, use the dedicated SX9-0-WH box.
