Pencil Stabilo Othello HB wooden hexagonal, lead 3 mm, pack of 12, green
Stabilo Othello HB wooden hexagonal pencils come in a pack of 12 with a green lacquer finish and a robust 3 mm HB lead core. Made in the Czech Republic, these pencils combine a classic wooden body with a thicker-than-standard lead that is suitable for everyday writing, sketching and marking tasks. The hexagonal shape improves grip and prevents rolling, and the pack dimensions (approx. 190×45×17 mm) make storage and transport convenient.
The 3 mm HB lead provides a balance between mark darkness and durability, reducing breakage during normal use and allowing broader strokes compared with standard thin leads. The hexagonal wooden shaft offers ergonomic handling and stability on flat surfaces. A green lacquer finish gives a professional appearance while protecting the wood from wear. These characteristics make the pencils practical for classrooms, offices and creative work where a thicker, reliable lead is preferred.
Sharpen the pencil with a suitable sharpener designed for thick leads to obtain the preferred point width for writing or drawing. Use gentle pressure for shading and broader strokes, and increase pressure slightly for darker lines or marking on tougher surfaces. Store the pencils in their pack or a pencil case to protect the tips and lacquer finish; keep away from excessive humidity to preserve the wood and lead quality.
For sketching and shading, use a blunt or slightly worn point to create softer, wider strokes. For precise lines and detailed work, sharpen to a fine point and maintain light pressure. If working on documents or forms, test the lead on a scrap piece of paper first to ensure desired visibility and smudge resistance.
