Polymer clay block Staedtler Fimo Soft 56 g in turquoise (185279)
Staedtler Fimo Soft is a 56 g block of soft polymer clay in turquoise designed for modelling, sculpting and small craft projects. The clay is pliable at room temperature and becomes easier to shape after conditioning by kneading. Once shaped, the material can be hardened by oven-curing to produce a durable, slightly flexible finish suitable for everyday decorative and wearable items.
Fimo Soft offers consistent texture and color that remain stable through handling and baking. Its soft formula requires less pressure to shape than firmer grades, reducing hand fatigue during extended modelling sessions. The clay blends readily with other Fimo Soft colors and accepts surface texturing, making it versatile for fine detail work, beads, miniatures and small sculptures.
Condition the Fimo Soft block by kneading until the clay becomes uniformly soft and pliable. Shape the clay using hands and common modelling tools to form beads, figures, or decorative parts. For multi-part assemblies, press joints together firmly or use a thin slip of conditioned clay to bond pieces. Place finished items on a suitable ovenproof surface and follow the manufacturers recommended baking temperature and time for soft polymer clay to achieve full curing. Allow pieces to cool completely before sanding, drilling or applying finishes.
Store unused clay wrapped in foil or in an airtight container to prevent drying and color transfer. Test-bake a small sample when mixing colors or trying new oven settings. Use appropriate protective equipment and follow oven safety guidelines when curing polymer clays.
