Modeling clay Staedtler FIMO 8020 — 57 g, black, single pack
Staedtler FIMO 8020 modeling clay — 57 g single pack in black is an oven-curable polymer clay formulated for adult hobbyists and beginners. The ready-to-use material is soft and smooth, suitable for sculpting small figures, creating jewelry, producing decorative details or carrying out minor repairs. The compact 57 g block offers a convenient size for trial projects, craft kits and detailed work, and it holds fine detail that can be sanded or painted after curing.
The clay is soft and easy to condition by hand, allowing precise shaping and fine surface work. Its compatibility with other FIMO ranges enables blending and combination with effect, leather-effect and professional lines. The standard block format is divided into practical portions for controlled blending and accurate color mixing. After oven curing the material becomes durable and can be processed further by sanding, drilling or painting.
Knead the clay until it is evenly conditioned and soft. Shape or sculpt the material with hands and modeling tools to achieve the required details. For combined projects, blend small portions with compatible polymer clays. Place finished pieces on a suitable ceramic or metal tray and cure in a domestic oven following the manufacturer’s recommended temperature and time for the specific FIMO range used. After cooling, refine cured surfaces by sanding, drilling or painting as needed.
Work on a clean, non-porous surface and use a dedicated oven thermometer to ensure accurate curing temperature. Store unused clay in its original packaging, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve softness and workability.
