Pencil Staedtler Noris HB — wooden pencil, HB hardness, black/yellow, 1 pc
Staedtler Noris HB is a single wooden pencil with HB hardness, presented in the recognisable black-and-yellow design. Made in Germany, this pencil combines a medium-hard graphite core with a lacquered timber body suitable for general writing, note-taking, sketching and basic technical drawing. The compact single-piece format is convenient for students, office workers and home use where a reliable, everyday pencil is needed.
The pencil delivers consistent medium-dark strokes thanks to its HB graphite, balancing smoothness and durability for everyday tasks. The wooden barrel provides stable grip and good sharpening behaviour, while the classic black-and-yellow finish makes the product easy to identify among other writing instruments. Being a single pencil, it is easy to carry in pencil cases, pockets or organisers.
This pencil may not be ideal for specialised artistic work that requires softer leads for rich shading or harder leads for very fine, light lines. It is also not suited for situations where mechanical pencils or clutch pencils with refillable leads are preferred for uninterrupted long sessions without sharpening.
Sharpen the pencil with a standard pencil sharpener to obtain the desired point. Use for writing, sketching or drawing on paper surfaces; adjust pressure to vary line darkness and thickness. Replace the pencil when the lead is consumed. Store in a dry place to avoid warping of the wooden body and to maintain consistent sharpening performance.
Use a good-quality sharpener for a clean point, and keep spare pencils or a sharpener in your pencil case for uninterrupted use during school or work. For darker shading, increase pressure or select a softer lead grade; for fine technical lines, use lighter pressure or a harder lead.
