The low-odour, permanent ink is waterproof and dries in seconds; certain colours (black, yellow, orange and brown) are lightfast and black is weatherproof. The polypropylene barrel and cap, clip and DRY SAFE ink technology ensure long service life and practical handling. The pen is airplane-safe thanks to automatic pressure equalisation and can be refilled using STAEDTLER refill station 487 17. Pack contains 10 black markers.

How to use

Shake the marker briefly before use to mix the ink. Press the tip gently onto the surface and write or mark as required; the ink dries within seconds. After use, replace the cap to preserve the tip. To refill, insert the pen into STAEDTLER refill station 487 17 and wait until the pen draws the ink; full refill is achieved after approximately 3–4 hours. Avoid overfilling — the pen will draw only its maximum ink content.

Usage recommendations

For best results on non-porous surfaces such as glass or metal, test on a small area first. Allow fresh ink to dry fully before stacking or exposing to moisture. Store markers horizontally or in the supplied stand-up box; keep capped when not in use to maximise lifespan.
