STANLEY SG 2400 BASIC Petrol Generator 2.1 kW

The STANLEY SG 2400 BASIC Petrol Generator 2.1 kW is a reliable power generation device designed to deliver a steady electrical supply whenever mains power is unavailable. Built with a robust protective frame and a dependable internal combustion engine, this portable petrol generator offers a practical backup solution for domestic environments, outdoor applications, and work sites. It ensures continuous operation of essential appliances and tools during unexpected power outages or in remote locations without access to the electrical grid.

Advantages

This petrol generator features a sturdy metal frame that protects internal components and facilitates secure transport and placement on various surfaces. The internal combustion engine is engineered for consistent performance, providing a stable power output suitable for standard electrical devices. Its compact design allows for straightforward storage and handling, making it an accessible auxiliary power source for both professional and private users.

Suitable for

• Providing backup electricity for home use during power failures
• Powering tools and equipment at remote job sites
• Operating outdoor lighting and small appliances during camping or outdoor activities

When it may not be suitable

This generator is not designed to supply continuous power for heavy industrial machinery or high-capacity household systems requiring sustained high loads. It may also prove insufficient for sensitive electronic equipment that demands a specialized pure sine wave output without prior voltage stabilization.

Key specifications

• Power output: 2.1 kW
• Fuel type: Petrol
• Engine type: Internal combustion
• Design: Portable with protective frame

How to use

Place the generator on a stable, flat surface outdoors in a well-ventilated area, maintaining a safe distance from buildings, windows, and doors to prevent exhaust accumulation. Ensure the fuel tank is filled with the correct type of petrol and check the engine oil level before starting. Connect the desired electrical devices to the output sockets only after the engine has been successfully started and is running at a stable idle. Turn off and disconnect all connected equipment prior to shutting down the generator.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the total power requirements of the appliances or tools you intend to connect simultaneously to ensure they do not exceed the capacity of the unit
• Confirm that you have a safe, well-ventilated outdoor location for operating and storing equipment powered by petrol
• Assess the intended frequency of use to determine if a portable basic generator matches your operational expectations

Usage recommendations: Always operate the generator outdoors to prevent the buildup of hazardous exhaust gases. Allow the engine to cool down completely before refueling or performing routine maintenance checks. Store the unit in a clean, dry environment protected from moisture and extreme weather conditions when not in use for extended periods.
