Add 8x USB-A and 2x USB-C high-speed ports to a USB-C enabled desktop or laptop with the StarTech.com 10-Port USB-C Hub. The hub provides ten USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) ports and includes a 65W power adapter, overcurrent protection (OCP) and a USB-IF certified screw-locking USB-C host cable. It supports Wake On USB and is backward compatible with earlier USB standards for broad device compatibility.

Advantages

The hub delivers up to 10 Gbps of shared bandwidth from the USB host for fast data transfers and is backward compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. It is self-powered via the included 65W adapter so connected ports maintain their specified power regardless of load. Overcurrent protection reduces the risk of device dropouts and unexpected host shutdowns. Two BC 1.2 charging ports (one USB-A and one USB-C) provide 2.4 A (12 W) each for charging, while the remaining ports provide USB 3.2 standard power levels. A screw-locking USB-C host cable with a flexible TPE jacket is included for a secure, durable connection.

How to use

Connect the included screw-locking USB-C host cable to a USB-C port on your desktop or laptop and secure the connector if required. Plug the 65W power adapter into the hub and an AC outlet to enable the hub's self-powered operation. Attach USB devices to the available USB-A or USB-C ports. Charging-capable BC 1.2 ports provide power with or without a host connection. The hub is plug-and-play and should install automatically on Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, iPadOS and Android systems.
