The StarTech.com Cat5e Patch Cable (45PAT1MBK) is a 1 m U/UTP Ethernet cable designed for Fast Ethernet networks and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) applications. It uses 24 AWG copper conductors, a black PVC jacket and snagless RJ45 connectors with moulded boots to provide secure, reliable connections for 10/100Base-T(X) equipment.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable meets or exceeds Category 5e specifications and is constructed with 100% copper conductors and 24-gauge wire to support high-performance Ethernet and PoE. The moulded boots provide connector strain relief while snagless RJ45 clips reduce the risk of damage during installation. Gold-plated (50-micron) RJ45 contacts improve conductivity and resist corrosion, and the durable black PVC jacket allows for color-coded cable runs.
